Add a few drops of your liquid dish soap into the mixture and slowly swirl the bottle to mix everything together. Before applying the cleaner, you will want to vacuum the baking soda. Make sure to be thorough and remove all of the baking soda. Spray the solution over the traffic pattern stains. Use dry towels to blot and remove the access moisture from the carpet. Once the carpet is dry vacuum the carpet to help restore the carpet texture.
